We
can try to arrange accommodation for visitors with local people. Please contact
Shaun (sellers@me.wustl.edu) if you
are interested.
For
people who prefer to stay in a hotel, we encourage them to use www.priceline.com as the most economical
way:
1.
Go to Priceline.com
2.
Choose
"Hotels"
3.
Type in "St.
Louis" as a city
4. The first area that is most convenient to the
workshop area would be:
5.
Then you pick the
number of star hotel you want
6.
Start with a bid around
$40 for a hotel/per night -- for a 3 star hotel. Could bid less for a 2
1/2 star hotel.
7.
If the bid isn't
accepted, bid $5 more or pick another area. As alternative area,
Westport (about a
20 minute drive from the university)
would
also be not too far from the workshop area.
8.
Priceline will confirm
your bid and send you the hotel information--phone--address--within a few
minutes.
People
have stayed at the Sheraton in Westport with a $40 Priceline
bid.
Alternatively,
people have also stayed at the Drury Inn across the airport (20 minute drive to
university) for about 45 dollars without Priceline.
