NewsEngineers Without Borders project featured on Idea Bounce (10/14/07)A project involving the use of peanuts to reduce malnutrition has won an Idea Bounce event, and is currently featured on the front page of the Idea bounce website. The project is to streamline the process of turning raw peanuts, soy, and other ingredients into RUTF (Ready-to-Use Therapeutic Food) that can help treat malnutrition. The goal is to make the processing system small enough that individual villages can make their own RUTF and greatly reduce malnutrition. The Idea Bounce description of the project can be found here.
