Cats come running when you use a can opener in real life, so why not in NetHack too? Xanthian thought so.
Personally, I'm a dog person, feeding the cat was always up to my flatmate. But the behaviour is well known. Plus, it helps differentiate cats and dogs. When opening a tin with a tin opener, all your pet cats (on that level) that aren't trapped teleport to you. All cats are woken. If there are no cats, one is sometimes made. Your pet cats will be marginally hungrier, since you got their expectations up. This is bonesafe.
Don't forget to enable by manually editing include/config.h. The precompiler define is WEBB_TIN_OPENER.
